Pastor Elizabeth Hadley

Elizabeth attended the University of Missouri-Rolla on a basketball scholarship. In 1988, she graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree in Applied Mathematics. While there she met Gary, and they were married her senior year.

Elizabeth and Gary moved to in Knoxville, IA where she taught math and coached sports, while Gary took a job with 3M. She also served as an associate professor and coach at Central College in Iowa, and she earned a M.S. degree from Iowa State University.

Elizabeth was called to ministry in 1992 during a mission trip to Brazil, giving up her plans in further collegiate education. She earned a Master of Divinity United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and was ordained in the United Methodist Church as a deacon in 1996 and as an elder in 2002.

Since then, she has ministered at United Methodist and Lutheran churches in Minnesota, Missouri, and Ohio as Gary received job transfers with 3M. Before Faith Presbyterian, she ministered with Living Word Lutheran Church in Medina, OH.

Elizabeth and Gary have 6 children (3 boys and 3 girls) who are scattered around the United States. Along with being a pastor, Elizabeth also coaches tennis at the University of Findlay and is the head teaching pro at the Findlay YMCA.
